Jennifer Smith is a Indiana native who has called Kansas City home for the last 23 years.

She is a full-time human resources professional for a federal agency and counts among her professional interests talent acquisition and employee development/engagement. 

A lifelong singer, she has returned to school (say hello to #the51yearoldsophomore!) to pursue a lifelong dream of studying vocal music.  In the pandemic, she started posting acapella songs on TikTok, and she launched her YouTube channel in 2023.  Follow her on social media for her weekly #sundaysongswithjen posts! 

In her spare time, she enjoys baking and trying new recipes, knitting, spending time with friends and family, and searching Kansas City to find the best iced caramel latte in the city.  She’ll beat you at 80s music trivia every time, cries at sappy movies, and loves pizza.
